Do you want to change your mp3 player with a new cool pink mp3 player?

Creative NOMAD Jukebox Zen Xtra with 40 GB

Creative NOMAD Jukebox Zen Xtra 40 GB MP3 Player

I just bought a Creative Zen Jukebox with 40 GB mp3 player. They also make a 20, 30 and 60 gig player. The software is very easy to use. You just hilite the song(s) and click an arrow and the songs move to the Jukebox from whatever source you use, like a CD or your hardrive; even a Napster type download.

Likewise, with the same software you can easilly delete, rename or move files around on the player. The battery is removable so you can purchase an extra or replace it after a couple years. The menu is clunky at times, but easy after a little practice. The sound quality is great even with the ear buds that come with the player. I listen to jazz and some classical, so I don’t tolerate lousy headphones.

The Creative MP3 players are very competitive in their pricing often on sale and they all play MP3, WMV and DRM standard with different capacities. I use the highest setting for MP3 for the best sound quality. I would recommend getting at least 30 gig and even 40 gig.

The price is not much different between the 20, 30 and 40 gig players and they all weigh about the same, give or take an ounce. Lastly, the Jukebox comes with a sturdy case with a belt clip with access to all contols through openings in case.

5gb Zen Micro MP3 Player White

5gb Zen Micro MP3 Player White

The Zen Micro mp3 player from Creative Labs packs an incredible 5 GB of storage capacity into a shell small enough to sit comfortably in your jeans pocket. It also rides nicely in your hand, with a palm-fitting profile and thumb-friendly front-panel controls.

It’s a bit shorter than an Apple iPod Mini, yet its rechargeable lithium-ion battery provides 12 hours of continuous playback–50 percent more than iPod Mini’s. The Zen Micro is compatible not merely with MP3s and WAV files, but with WMA as well. Toss in USB 2.0 connectivity and you’re looking at one spiffy portable music player.

I REALLY like the fact it has a radio, it was a big selling point to me as I listen to a lot of talk-radio during the day. I was leary of the iPod because of it’s battery changing problem (you have to send it back to Apple). Don’t know if it is the same deal with the Zen Micro, but I hope not.

Only gripe is I have to charge it via the USB cable, there is no seperate power adapter (that I can see). I tried to charge it with a lap-top that did not have the Zen software installed, and it did not charge! Even when I left it overnight. I don’t understand why it didn’t charge. Having the software installed shouldn’t make a difference between Zen and other mp3 players.
